Adela Hu joined Ray White Epsom in the year 2000, initially as accounts person. With a Diploma in Business from Unitec , a Masters degree in Management from the Harbin Institute of Technology and an MBA from AIS St Helens, she worked as a valuable member of the administration team for a number of years. It was during those years that she gradually started becoming familiar with the process of property management. As the only Mandarin-speaking member of the team, she was often called on to liaise with Chinese landlords and tenants who spoke little English. Adela officially became a member of the property management team in 2010. Starting with an empty portfolio, Adela had to work diligently and rapidly hard to develop the Chinese market. Her work ethics speak for themselves - in the short space of 2 years, Adela has built a personal portfolio of 90 properties under her management, and this number is steadily growing.
Adela has overwhelming enthusiasm for property management. Not only does she state her passion for this field regularly, but all her anecdotes relate to houses too. Property management really harnesses all of Adela’s attributes. She loves the challenge of dealing with a wide range of people – and we all know that you really do meet all kinds of people through property management. Talking too much was never considered much of a valuable quality for Adela until she became a property manager. It’s this love of talking and people that has enabled her to develop and maintain such good relationships with her landlords and tenants. Adela is a perfectionist and is constantly reflecting on her work methods, and thinking of new ways to improve herself as a property manager. Working overtime is always on the cards, no complaints. With a sound knowledge of the administrative side and an enthusiastic approach to the people side of property management, there was never really any doubt that Adela would make an excellent property manager.
